With his delicate, light, and fluffy French pastries, Yohann Le Bescond is whipping up blissful delight at Emma’s Patisserie. From the fanciful flavors of petit gâteau to simplistic sweets such as French macarons, Le Bescond strives to serve authenticity. Originally from Treffiagat, France, Le Bescond found a passion for baking at the age of 13. He quickly progressed through apprenticeships and internships from Rennes to Vienna to Miami until finally, Le Bescond found himself his dream job as an Executive Pastry Chef at Emma’s. Starting at the World Equestrian Center when it first opened in 2021, Le Bescond’s popular pastries have been delighting French pastry aficionados and hungry equestrians alike. Pro tip: Always, always order the croissant. Or the macaron? Better yet, both.
